The Institute For Community
(IFC) is a 50I(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated
to building quality relationships where people live and work through the power
of genuine community. Utilizing four portals of entry into community: Friendship,
Membership, Partnership, Ownership, the IFC develops grass root relationships
as well as strategic corporate partnerships creating value in the neighborhoods
served.
The Institute for Community serves the public through operation of a
revolutionary community service model called the Friendship Centre.
Friendship Centre's are designed to meet community needs and promote
volunteerism and service in the areas of Family, Recreation,
Education & Career, Spiritual, and Health & Wellness.
The Friendship Centre at Highpoint currently
serves the residents of Will and DuPage counties with plans for 3
other locations both locally and nationally in the near future.
The Marquette Companies are committed to redefining the quality of life through
